Apple says the location data is private and anonymous with end-to-end encryption. Apple has introduced the AirTag which is a rival to the Tile trackers available in the market for some years now. The new accessory from Apple will now help in keeping track of items using Apple's Find My app. The AirTag can be attached to a handbag, keys, backpack, or other items.  Apple states that the AirTag will tap into the vast global Find My network to help locate a lost item.
